I’ve had some extra time off work recently and I’ve been going back through some old Gymcastic videos. I came across the Live Watch Commentary from 2018 Worlds and I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time! The videos you’re watching aren’t available through the link, but are still on YouTube. It’s been so fun watching Jessica’s live/uncensored reactions and Spencer making her wait for what happens. It lets me know I’m not the only one who gets super emotional and excited while watching!
This is my official petition to bring back live watches of meets!
I know Jessica usually goes to meets now for press, but what about the smaller meets like Europeans or World Cups? I think it would be so much fun!

Helen Kevric to Olympics

I have been a fan of Helen Kevric for a few years now and I was always rooting for her to get to the olympics 2024. Now that Germany hasn‘t qualified a team, is there another way aside from the non-nominative spot? For example if Helen gets the All-around spot from Euros 2024, does the non-nominative spot disappear and Helen get the last spot?

Didn't have time to do a full menu, but here are two cocktails you might be able to mix up before Qualifications start! The second drink will be featuring a new ingredient you'll see more often come NCAA season.... 😉

Balance Beam Prayer Candle
Light a candle and a sprig of thyme, and hope no one falls.

Boozy
2oz White Rum
1.5oz Raspberry Thyme Syrup
.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Fresh Thyme
(Served up in a martini glass)

N/A
2oz Raspberry Thyme Syrup
1.5oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Gingerale
(Served over ice in a highball glass)

Make Your Syrup
Raspberry Thyme Syrup
12oz frozen raspberries
1/2 c water
1/2c brown sugar
Several sprigs fresh thyme
Bring everything to a simmer and stir until the sugar dissolves. Once dissolved, cool down completely, letting the thyme and raspberries steep together. Strain through find mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth to prevent solids passing into the finished syrup. Bottle and keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Prep Your Glass
On a fire safe surface, light a sprig of thyme on fire and say a prayer to the Beam Witch for success. Place your glass upside down over it and let the flame extinguish and smoke fill up the glass while you make your cocktail.

Make the Drink:
In a cocktail shaker, combine lemon juice, prepared simple syrup, and alcohol (if using). Shake with ice to chill, and double-strain into your prepared glass. For the N/A version, top with gingerale. For both, garnish with a fresh spring of time laid across the rim like a Balance Beam and hope for the best.

2oz Fresh Lime Juice
2.5oz Lychee Nectar
1oz Simple Syrup
.75oz Chilled Butterfly Pea Flower Tea
3 drops Jessica's Overflowing Emotions

Ingredient Prep
Jessica's Overflowing Emotions
(80/20 saline solution)
80g water
20g salt
Dissolve salt into water, store in a dropper bottle, and keep chilled.

Make the Drink
Shake ingredients with ice to chill, double strain into a frozen martini glass. Jessica's Overflowing Emotions will give the citrus in this cocktail a wonderful pop. Garnish with a dehydrated lemon slice and sip as you watch history be made.

Hi there! I'm a gymnerd medical student on a rare extended break and have made the last minute decision to live out my dreams in Antwerp! I'm seeking tickets to any of the finals sessions from Wednesday-Sunday. While I can still get tickets to most sessions online, I was hoping to find a gymnerd willing to sell me a ticket at any sort of a discounted price (especially the currently sold-out Women's AA). They’ve added bar help to serve drinks, but if you decide you want food it will be slow because it’s a small kitchen.
