I am a dancer and it makes me cringe everytime I see Simone or Mykayla's feet. The ROC and Chinese teams seem to have put more focus on form and it makes their skills that much more mesmerizing. Also, who is the US team's dance coach? They need some serious help in that area. Just wondering if the US doesn't focus as much on the "aesthetics" of the skills.

Hello fellow Gymnerds! I was thinking about the individual spot today after reading an article from ESPN about how MyKayla and Jade shouldn't have been on the same team because of the two per country rule. I began to think that there was maybe strategy (reasonable, maybe not) to not putting Riley or Kara as individuals.

Do you think it could be that they wanted to preserve Simone's reputation and chances of at least 4 medals? Had they put Riley on the squad as an individual, it is unlikely that Simone would have made bars finals if both Riley and Suni were there. At this point, it is really the only thing I can think of.

Thanks!

I have the schedule downloaded, but if we cannot watch live because, say, we have four small children and we can’t stay up till three or four in the morning, what would be the best place to watch, maybe more close to PrimeTime the next day? I know NBC doesn’t show everything, so would the NBC sports app be a better place? I have noticed that they show a lot more. I don’t mind the commentators, I just want to see more than the bare minimum. Thanks for any answers.
