How Long You Get After a Fall: 30 Seconds on Bars, 10 on Beam
Fall off bars and stay down: unlimited time. Stand up: 30 seconds, then 0.3, then at 60 seconds the judges put their pencils down.
On beam you get 10 seconds. Because nobody needs to re-chalk on beam. Beam isn't slippery. Beam isn't terrifying.

You can no longer yell your inquiry over a crowd of camera people at a volunteer judge.
It's electronic, everyone gets two minutes, and only a dedicated inquiry officer — never a judge — can enter it.

Leotards Are Not Required
Leotards are not actually required in gymnastics.
Singlets and unitards are legal (the whole team has to match). The men, meanwhile, get pants or no pants. All they ask is no pajamas.
