Sydney Barros: About her floor routine - She wanted it to be a little different from previous years in elite. It's pro black and pro empowering black people. She used all black artists in the music.
— GymCastic (@GymCastic) February 25, 2022
She's also excited to show off her Nabs at this competition.#WinterCup
One goal is to get international assignments and specifically mentioned getting selected to go to Stuttgart.

eMjae Frazier: Excited about the new code and thinking about how she can clean things up and be able to show more.
— GymCastic (@GymCastic) February 25, 2022
Says this is a meet to get your feet wet, not a make it or break it. Of course, will be trying her best and looking to get international assignments.#WinterCup
Skye Blakely: Thinks the new code is going to push people to add more difficulty. She's still working back to full D. She added that it will be cool to see changes and how people adjust to the new code. #WinterCup

Suni and Roberson doing the same vault , yurchenko half on front layout (AKA flying banana Jesus vault)
— GymCastic (@GymCastic) February 25, 2022
Katelyn Jong: She won't be doing her upgrades here. Mostly the same as her junior routines.
— GymCastic (@GymCastic) February 25, 2022
With the new code she didn’t have to make many changes, but will be working to upgrade.#WinterCup
She said she feels more powerful. Feels a lot stronger, especially legs, doesn’t feel like she has to be here, feels relaxed.

Press conference time. First up is Konnor McClain.
— GymCastic (@GymCastic) February 25, 2022
On beam, she says the new code hasn’t effected her much. It’s the same construction as Worlds. If she hits all her connections it's a 6.6 D. #WinterCup
She went back to the gym in the middle of Jan. and has only been doing full routines for the month of Feb.
— GymCastic (@GymCastic) February 25, 2022
Goal is just to do what they tell her to and don’t worry about placement at all.
Worlds gave her confidence.

So that's it for Podium Training
We'll be back as the competition kicks off. We'll also have our live show for Club Members tomorrow after the women's competition is over. If you're not a member you can join now.
Talking with the gymnasts now.
Missed NCAA Week 7? We've got you covered! https://t.co/VdFzo0fJuw

So far Joscelyn Roberson is the only gymnast to do two different family’s of vaults here. (Unless missed one, a lot going on) Not good if only one senior has two different families, Same problem they had at Worlds where no one was eligible for finals.

eMjae’s Nabs is looking good. Directly into Pak.

TCT are very college team here but with the elite D. Lots of cheering for each other, fist bumps and and performing the crap out of their choreography.
