I am obsessed with gymnastics and Simone (I live 10 minutes from her. Not to flex because that means I live in Terrible Texas but also a flex because I’m basically her neighbor) but! I don’t want to go to the tour because I go to watch amazing competition. So the hardest skills. I don’t want to watch a gymnastics version of Disney On Ice. Thoughts for a grown person without kids who also hates musicals and mediocre dancing. Do I go?
I am bummed the tour isn’t coming to Seattle…I can’t justify going to Boise
I’m a member of the Alliance for Social Workers in Sports and they are a great resource for jobs, CEUs, etc. You can be a student or professional member. I was a gymnast, coach, and now am a therapist who works in abuse prevention and child welfare. You just have to be in the field, not specifically have a BSW or MSW (from what I know).
