Same! I just got the email and im freaking out! How does it all work???

Congrats, I just got an email too and am honestly in complete shock!  My drop starts April 17 at 1 AM my time ha ha.  I have not watched the video they sent about how it all works, but would love to hear some strategy tips!  I know the chances of gym tix are basically nonexistent, so I'd love a good strategy to make this just a wonderful memorable experience for my kids, who will be 18 and 15 by the time the games happen.  I grew up in GA and was 15 when the games to Atlanta.  Besides the whole bomb fiasco, it really was awesome.

I got my timeslot too! Thanks to Jessica for telling us how it works! Interested in others experiences. 

LA28 posted that due to high demand in the local presale that some/sessions sports do not have inventory left in drop 1. Apparently, additional inventory will be added in subsequent drops. 

We were part of the local drop, but no gymnastics tickets in any discipline were available (this does not mean they are sold out, just that their release batch was sold out). As mentioned above, more ticket drops will happen in the future and hopefully we can get lucky next time. Here are some screenshots I took to give you an idea of prices and seating.

The draw for qualification sessions hasn't happened yet so you're grabbing tickets blind, not knowing who's going to compete in what session during qualifications.

@coop awesome  info. Going to try and grab whatever else there is and leave some of my allotment for future drops, in hopes that I get a version of gymnastics in the future .

Update from others with earlier Drop 1 timeslots: no more availability for this drop for Swimming, Diving, Trampoline or Gymnastics.
