Hello! I'm hoping to go this weekend, for the Sat 2pm meet vs Oregon State! It will be my very first live NCAA meet. I'm in SF. I have no idea how early to get there or how seating works or anything else. Have you been?

@mitra-malek Hello, yes!  I've been to several Cal meets.  Seating is not assigned, so assuming you get the $20 ticket, it'll be pretty clear which areas you can sit in, and then you can just pick your preferred seat.  I usually get there 15 minutes early, but they do inspect and check bags, so if you're planning on bringing a purse or backpack, then add around 15 minutes to your entry time. If you're planning on driving, then I find that the parking lot on Ellsworth St. and Channing Way (underneath some tennis courts) is the closest and cheapest. I hope that helps!

@khoa-ngo Thank you for all that intel! I got the $18 ticket, assume that's what you're referring to. Looks like they now have a clear-bag policy. I was thinking to get there quite a bit earlier, thought maybe I could get in and watch warm-ups? I could swear on one of the Gymcastic episodes in the past year Jessica talked about doing that. Looks like I'll be there! Let me know if you go!
