Hi Jessica and Spencer!
I am a new listener and LOVE your podcasts. I was going through College Gym New's injury updates and noticed that on 7/1/23 three gymnasts were removed from the Oregon State Roster (Trinity Andrews, Julia Melchert, and Brianna Yamamoto). Seemed odd that so many left at once. Has something changed in their program? Anyway, already counting the days to NCAA starting and the road to Paris Olympics! it is going to be a great year for gymnastics!

Does anyone know why Lauren Letzsch isn't on the line up this 2024? Is she out with any injury?

@diana-langdon I wondered the same, I wanted her on floor in the fantasy league but wanted to see her new routine before committing... she is not shown as injured on collegegymnews though 🧐

Also, what is going on with Oregon State’s beam this year? Last year they were a top 5 beam team by NQS and this year they cannot seem to get it together on beam at all. I went to the Rutgers meet in person on Saturday and they did not have a great rotation, lots of wobbles in seemingly otherwise very good routines. Even Jade, who qualified to nationals last year as a beam specialist, got the lowest score of her college career on any event on beam this week (9.75).
Their bars were excellent!

@jessica-hauser I was at that meet as well and was pretty stunned at their performance overall. I had expected some drops in their vault/floor this year since Jade is only doing beam and bars but they don't look anywhere near last year's team.

@diana-langdon did we find out anything about this? I have her on my gymlytics fantasy team, cause I wanted her beam and floor, but thinking about trading her if we don't think she's gonna compete...
