Please clarify the vault score that should be included. Thanks

Same question about vault as above! Also, if one of our athletes on an event didn't make that event final but did make the AA final, should we be inputting / will we be credited for their score on the given event from the AA final day?

@sgreen3 Yes, each final is an opportunity to add to your score.

Eg., Nemour makes AA final + bars final that means you'll count four scores for AA + bars final score.

So the further your athletes go the more opportunities you get to wrack up points. 

@coop if you take the highest score, does that affect the AA score? or do you go with the counted AA score (e.g. Leanne Wong)?

@vk I'm not 100% positive on how it's calculated on the backend, but I don't think you can think of it as the AA score and more of the cumulative score based on the person's highest scoring total. So for Leanne, I believe it takes the top vault score even though that's not how it officially works where they count the first vault for the AA score. I hope this makes sense.

Seems like some of the vault scores are being being doubled again for some reason. Scores look alright in the form, but the league results are showing some vault scores in the 20s.

@coop it's not "calculating" though. AA is a separate entry. Also, some scores from prelims are on Day 1 tab and some are on Day 2. Where should they be? There are too many tabs in the score sheet and they're not labeled as "prelims" "AA final" "Event Final"

Right now Leanne has a 51.865, her official AA score, but should it be a 54.532, the sum of the highest scores? These are input on Day 2 btw.

I don't think the totals are calculating the way you wanted them to.... 

I noticed earlier that not only is the lowest of the three individual scores per event being dropped, but the lowest of the three AA scores was dropped as well. 

It was NOT clear in the instructions that this would happen. 

But then today I noticed this had recalibrated.

I have Wong, Nemour, and Caylor as my three AA people.  All of them made it to finals.

Q: 51.865, 53.865, 52.765

AAF: 54.966, 54.564, 51.532

After Qualifying, Wong's score had been dropped because it was the lowest.

After AAF the display lists the AA totals for each gymnast: 106.831, 108.429, 104.297

And it dropped the lowest TOTAL - the 104.297.  

But it should have dropped the 51.865 for Wong from the first day and the 51.532 from Caylor from the second.

Now I am wondering what happens after event finals.

Since Nemour and Caylor will be in event finals, will it add those scores to their totals and then drop Wong because she will have a lower total since she is not in any finals?

Something is not mathing.

@laura-leventer Thank you all for checking on this. We'll get it sorted out. 

TLDR; you have a potential of three athletes competing on the four apparatus + AA. Each day they compete you drop the lowest score of the three. Add the total points up at the end of all competition days and that's your score. So if you don't have anyone in VT finals you get 0 whereas someone else might get 28 points for two vault scores. 

To your point, yes, it should drop the lowest score each day, not total. Firing off an email to get this sorted. 

shouldn't we be getting event final credit for those we selected for AA?

We never got an answer on whether the highest vault counts for AA or the official AA should.

Some people are getting round 4 and 5 points for their AA gymnasts who went to EF but I am not…. So there are more glitches here.

Just chatted with our fantasy developer and we're trying to figure out where these scores are coming from. Do you know which AA athlete(s) are getting rd 4 & 5 points? Thank you for your patience on this. 

@coop Wong for The Win got points for Kaylia in round 4 (UB) but I think she may have picked her BOTH for AA and UB.  But shouldn't anyone who picked an AA who made AA and EF (such as Dulcy or Kaylia) be getting points for them on 3 separate occasions (per event)?
