This is a simple mock planning spreadsheet. You can download it and then start tinkering around with your mock lineup. You can change the individual gymnast salary and the total cost and salary cap remaining will automatically adjust.
Quick Info:
- You have a $90,000 salary cap. This is new for the 2025 season
- You will draft 6 athletes per event, requiring a total of 24 draft selections. This is new for the 2025 season (6 up, 5 count)
- An athlete may have a different price depending on the event you select them for
- If you spread your budget evenly across each each apparatus, your average spend per athlete would be: $3,750
- If you spread your budget evenly across all 10 athletes, your average spend would be: $22,500
- You don't have to spend the full $90,000, but you do need to draft all 24 positions.
- The price range of athletes is: $6,250 - $1,000

@cdnelliefan Not a problem. Now that you have your teams built, all you have to do is wait for the season to begin and cheer them on. We will post a crowdsourcing spreadsheet in the Forum that participants can register the scores (completely voluntary) and the scores within the fantasy system will update. At the end of the weekend you will be able to see the leaderboard of the top 50-ish fantasy players, plus your own. The top scorer each week will win a prize. And the grand prize winner for most season total points will win a full commissioned episode. The fun part is trying to find those diamonds in the rough to separate yourself from the pack (athletes who outscore their price).
New this year is we're introducing trophies. These are badges that you can unlock for reaching certain achievements during the season. For example, having an athlete on your roster who scores a perfect 10 will unlock a badge that you will then be able to see in your trophy case. This is just for fun and doesn't mean anything toward winning the league.
We know fantasy gymnastics is a relatively new thing for most gymnastics fans. We launched our league excited to introduce more people to it and indirectly to connect the community and to shine light on some of the lesser known athletes performing fantastic gymnastics each week.
So if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate or apologize. Having these conversations is the point and we're so excited you've taken the first step by drafting your teams.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention that we have a weekly fantasy newsletter (sign up here) that offers weekly updates once the season starts. We also do a special Fantasy YouTube Show during the season (watch and subscribe here).
We hope this helps, please let us know if you have any other questions.
@coop Could Haylee Hardin, freshman at Iowa State possibly be added please?
@melissa-brown @genevieve-francis Thank you for the feedback. All the gymnasts mentioned should be available within a few hours.
@coop Thank you for adding Haylee Hardin, but I believe she is at Iowa State, not Iowa FYI.
@genevieve-francis Oops, thank you for catching that. We'll get it corrected.
Is there a reason it won't let me access the mock draft planner even though I'm logged in?
@lbnash24 You should be able to access it. Please shoot an email to customerservice@gymcastic.com and we'll email a copy.
Two questions: 1) Are Monday meets, like Denver at Arkansas, this Monday, Jan 20, included in this week's picks? 2) Would there be anyway to change the display to show the gymnast's collegiate affiliation on the lineup sheets, too? I think that would make it much easier to see at a glance! Thanks! This has been way more fun this year with the 6 up 5 count format!
@cdnelliefan Not a problem. Each week the teams in real life compete and athletes record real scores. We take those scores and apply them to your roster. Ultimately, the team with the highest score at the season wins. Along the way you can strive to have the highest weekly score and we just released the trophy case where you can reach personal milestones and unlock badges. For example, if your team achieves a score of 196+ you unlock a badge. If your vault lineup goes 49.5+ you unlock a badge, etc.
You can let your roster rollover to the next week or continue to tinker to try and optimize your lineup and change it every week. One of the funnest parts is trying to find the hidden value athletes to separate yourself from others playing the game.
Hope this helps.
@erin-raffety Yes, Monday meets are part of the previous week. When this happens those schools typically will have competed twice in a single week. And so if an athlete competes twice on an apparatus in a single week, we take the highest score for the game. Essentially you get two bites at the apple and it's a good strategy to selecting your roster.
Regarding collegiate affiliation, we'll bring this up with the developer. Sometimes these types of changes take a while to implement. Thank you for the suggestion.
