  • 0:02:37 – 0:02:59  Breaking news: The result of the meet they watched has changed, and Auburn won due to a reversed out-of-bounds call.
  • 0:02:59 – 0:03:28 The Eastern Conference ( Penn, Yale, Bridgeport etc.) has decided not to participate in the scoreboard program.
  • 0:03:28 – 0:03:53 The head of the Eastern Conference declined to comment on the decision.
  • 0:03:53 – 0:04:14 We  explain that the scoreboard reviews judges’ work.
  • 0:04:14 – 0:04:32 There is a point system where the most consistent judges get the best assignments, based on merit.
  • 0:04:57 – 0:05:24 Teams are responsible for videotaping routines from a specific angle behind one judge’s table and submitting them with score sheets.
  • 0:05:24 – 0:05:42 The hosts discuss that it seems like extra work to videotape, but it helps get the most consistent judges to judge championship rounds.
  • 0:06:50 – 0:07:13 A question is brought up about the difference in scores at the Florida meet versus the Alabama meet. Spencer says the judges need to watch meets back to back to see that they are being judged differently.
  • 0:09:06 – 0:09:23 Sarah Hubbard gum sponsorship
  • 0:09:23 – 0:09:38 Jessica tangents re new anti-choking device they should invest in and does not want someone to die on TV.
  • 0:10:15 – 0:10:42 The ads: erection pills and men’s hair growth.
  • 0:11:06 – 0:11:30 College programs market schemes for the working class
  • 0:12:10 – 0:12:34 A child watching asked about the ads for “penis medicine” was for. Spencer points out that people ask how to explain gay relationships to their children but not erectile dysfunction medication commercials.
  • 0:13:55 – 0:14:15 Jordan Bower’s fiancé was featured in last week’s meet but they should be talking about her double pike not her love life.
  • 0:14:15 – 0:14:41 This week’s mocktail is delicious, and is called the “fantasy steal”. Arkansas beat LSU.
  • 0:14:41 – 0:15:00 Commentator boo boos
  • 0:16:32 – 0:16:51 Leotards issues at the Auburn and Oklahoma meet.
  • 0:18:17 – 0:18:30 The SEC Championships format confirmation –  no individuals
  • 0:20:40 – 0:20:58 Arkansas vs. LSU meet scores and LSU problems
  • 0:23:53 – 0:24:14 Should Leanne Wong change her beam dismount
  • 0:27:53 – 0:28:12 Audrey Davis vault straddle. The Oklahoma coaches said that they worked on it hard.
  • 0:28:30 – 0:28:51 Leanne Wong’s beam score was mathematically possible even though she grabbed the beam.
  • 0:28:51 – 0:29:10 The biggest issue was a judge giving a 9.95 to Sloan Blakely because a step on a vault landing, it is a .1 deduction. A scoot is a .05 deduction.
  • 0:34:37 – 0:35:06  Penn State vault rotation where Allison Kemper got a 9.65 for a Yurchenko 1 1/2.
  • 0:36:08 – 0:36:30 Auburn gymnastnasties were just “nice clappers” and Selena Harris’s Instagram post.
  • 0:37:32 – 0:37:49 Shout out the women behind the camera at the Alabama and Auburn meets. And a lady in gold lamé pants and wondered what her deal was.
  • 0:38:11 – 0:38:29 Said no to a sponsor and why
  • 0:40:43 – 0:41:05 Spencer LA fire updates
  • 0:41:45 – 0:42:10  Black MAGA hats ad on Balance Beam Situation-  The best thing listeners can do is increase Club Gym Nerd membership so we don’t need ads at all.
  • 0:42:30 – 0:42:50 Going to Worlds in Indonesia, which is going to be expensive.
  • 0:44:11 – 0:44:35 GymCastic is no longer linking to Twitter because of Elon doing a Nazi salute.
  • 0:44:35 – 0:44:57 Join Blue Sky and to encourage their favorite team to stop posting on Twitter.
  • 0:46:03 – 0:46:27 Listener asks if cowboy is a deduction
  • 0:46:27 – 0:46:54 Jessica says there should be a camera between the judges’ heads 0:46:54 – 0:47:15
  • 0:48:39 – 0:49:02  Measuring angular velocity (flipping speed). A tachometer does not use radar, so it should be relatively safe to hold on  body parts.
  • 0:50:10 – 0:50:29  Discussion about party after every routine-  listener hates when gymnasts act surprised and over the top. They can’t believe they landed a pass that they have been doing since they were 8.
  • 0:52:14 – 0:52:43 The hosts say that everyone needs Jordan Bower face. Oklahoma does not need to pretend that they just did an amazing skill with gaslighting the judges party after landing
  • 0:52:43 – 0:53:05 The hosts love that KJ Kindler likes to have people on beam for 15 minutes non-stop.
  • 0:53:27 – 0:53:45 Jessica loves adult gymnastics because no one wants to do beam so she can stay up there for 20 minutes.
  • 0:53:45 – 0:54:03 It is an honor to be able to stay on the beam for a whole rotation. Other people hate beam.
  • 0:54:03 – 0:54:27 Marie’s husband is wondering why the judges do not sit around the apparatus
