I was watching the Stanford / SJSU meet and the commentator made a comment about the athlete being a "mini-me" because she is under 5 feet tall. If you commentate on any sports, please don't say such things. I'm 4'8" and I've been infantilized my entire life (50 years) because of my height. I'm wicked strong, have run class V rapids in a kayak, own my own house, have a PhD, etc.. I'm an adult -> and so are these athletes. Just please stop with the "mini-me", "cute" etc.. Those women are stronger and more badass than the commentators.
