My family and I (from Vermont) are going to California for February school vacation week and are going to a UCLA gymnastics meet! I'm so excited. We've never been to a college gymnastics meet before. I just bought the tickets and they are general admission. The meet starts at 7pm. How early do we need to get there to be able to get seats with a decent view (preferably near floor)?

Hi! For general admission I’d recommend getting there 45 mins early. Keep in mind that LA traffic is VERY bad and there is construction around UCLA so you will need to give yourself a significant amount of time for driving and parking. The seats with the best view of floor are always blocked off for the students. You can be in that section but you’ll be higher up. The main entrance puts you on the side with vault so you’ll want to go in and around to the other side to get closer to floor. Have so much fun!

I like to go sit by beam i think its section 118 or 119. Good view of floor. And nice because if you’re behind the student section they stand the whole time and then if you don’t want to stand you won’t be able to see!
