I am a pediatric sports medicine physician and former gymnast, coach and judge. My clinical practice and research interests are in the field of gymnastics medicine. I will be traveling to South Africa as part of the American Medical Society Sports Medicine (AMSSM) global exchange program in October 2024. The goal of this program is to collaborate with other experts in sports medicine outside of the U.S. I have already been connected with some excellent sports med docs in Souht Africa but was wondering if anyone has contacts in South African gymnastics, especially medical providers who take care of gymnasts in South Africa.
