Why is SEC network saying in every broadcast that ARK is last in the SEC when it’s clearly Alabama at 0-5?

They are last in the SEC.

Rankings

They don't go by win-loss records for seeding at SEC championships. The win-loss records never mattered, it was always NQS. Win-loss records started counting in 2017 when they introduced a regular season championship title.

However, in terms of SEC championships, seeding is based on NQS, at the moment, rankings are by average.

NQS or National Qualifying Score is the best 3 Road meet scores, and the next best 3 score, Road or Home. But NQS must contain minimum of 3 Road scores.
