Hi Everyone,
Longtime listener and watcher who has NEVER been to a meet. I am not far from Rutgers University and since Oregon State and Jade Carey will be there next weekend I am thinking about taking a drive. That being said, has anyone been to Rutgers for a meet? The website says all regular season events are free, but the parking situation is very confusing. It says I need to register but there is no way to register to park for the event. Any advice on how early to arrive, the ticket and parking situation etc is appreciated! Now I just need to hope there is no snow next weekend!

I have been to several Rutgers meets as we also live rather close and it's super easy. They are definitely free and doors typically open about an hour prior I believe. They do sell concessions at the Arena during the meet too. You can park in the yellow or green lot next to Jersey Mikes Arena. There is a parking registration under the more tab on the Rutgers gymnastics website but it doesn't look like it's activated yet and that could be because the spring semester doesn't start until Jan 16th. I would just check again before you head to the meet to see if that link is working to register your car.

I am planning to go to this meet on Saturday as well! I live in Brooklyn and am getting a zipcar to head down (it doesn't look particularly accessible via the train without also getting an uber). Hoping Jade is traveling with the team this week.
