Thanks for using this bully pulpit to hold Watanabe accountable for real transparency in effecting change. We all have a duty to ensure our athletes are safe and supported going forward. Zero tolerance for abuse!

I have to disagree with you all in regards to Myia Hambrick\’s floor routine. If you take a look at all the other floor routines that have gotten a 10 this year (and last year), you will see that her form is better than most. Yes, she has a slight pike in her second layout. However, her leaps and landings look a whole lot better than most. The reason she doesn\’t get a 10 is because she is not a well known name. If she was at Oklahoma, Florida, UCLA, or Utah, she\’d probably have at least two 10s already for her floor routine. The before mentioned teams always seem to be over scored compared to LSU. I blame it on the judges. The gymnasts do a wonderful job but the judges have to be better.

Russia’s currency is the ruble ($1 = 56.41 rubles right now). Google tells me that Ukraine’s currency is the hryvnia (?!?!), and $1 = 26.83 hryvnia.

Neither Russia nor Ukraine is a member of the EU. The fall of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who was pro-Russia, in 2014 is believed to be the reason that Russia annexed Crimea the week after the Sochi Olympics ended. Vladimir Putin does not approve of pro-Western governments in Kiev.

The ignorance on display every time you mention Ukrainian and Russian history (outside gymnastics) and relations is staggering.
