You are not correct.

First the book was incorrect on its fact checking (about Nadia Comaneci and the secret police) on Euros 1977 (see p.122 where it says Nadia was awarded 10 points for uneven bars which is incorrect since she had a bad landing and was awarded a 9.85), and now you are also stating things incorrect about these Euros.

They did not leave after bars. They left in the middle of beam, just after Nadia had finished on beam, but before Teodora Ungureanu had gone up (who otherwise had most likely gotten the silver with a previous 9.8, putting Elena Mukhina in third if they hadn’t left). Nadia had actually been given a 10 on beam, but was striken out because she had not stayed for the medal ceremony. So she would’ve had another gold medal if they hadn’t made the political walk-out.

I am baffled that this exact European Championships goes twice wrong in covering it in recent times. I thought you had a fact checker?

P.S. love the poster, but they were not fully grown women but tiny, fully emaciated girls.
