Our immediate reactions after watching the first day of Event Finals at the Tokyo Olympics:
All the details you didn’t see on tv, direct from Tokyo. We have our first Olympic Champion in gymnastics for Israel, Artem Dolgypyat on floor! Brazil has their first ever Olympic Champion on the women’s side with the amazing vault performance by Rebecca Andrade. Yeo Seojeong won the first South Kokrean women’s Olympic medal EVER, with her bronze on vault. BELGIUM! Nina Derweal won the first Olympic medal period for her country in women’s gymnastics and she is the Olympic BARS CHAMPION! MyKayla Skinner got her Olympic medal! Look perseverance up in a dictionary and it now is a picture of her. Jade Carey almost died on vault (but wait can’t wait for her floor performance)… and so much more.
